Your identity becomes the key to asset recovery. Restore access to your wallet on a new or reset Ledger device.
Select the Ledger device you want to restore your backup on. Your encrypted backup fragments are held by three independent companies — Ledger, Coincover and EscrowTech — and two of the three will release your fragments after you verify your identity.

Confirm your Secret Recovery Phrase
Enter the 24-word Secret Recovery Phrase of your Ledger to authorize the release of your backup fragments.
Your phrase is transmitted encrypted and is never stored in plain text. It is only used to verify ownership of the backup.

What happens next
- Two of three providers release your encrypted fragments
